Coach WInston Urwiller and his band of freshmen put smiles on the faces of all the Seaholm fans in attendance at Derby Middle School on Thursday afternoon as the host Maples defeated the Royal Oak Ravens 14-11.

The Maples Varsity lost to district rival Groves Falcons 7-5 at Maple Park yesterday afternoon. Matthew Bachand earned the win in relief for the Falcons and starter Max Schumaker was tagged with the loss for the Maples.

At Groves’ Crosby Field, the Maples JV earned a 5-3 victory over the JV Falcons..

Both teams resume play this Saturday with 11 AM doubleheaders against the Avondale HS Yellow Jackets. Varsity plays away @ Avondale and JV hosts at Maple Park.

Our Third Annual Home Run Derby takes place on Saturday, May 12th from Noon – 2 PM @ Maple Park – Seaholm High School. Read the attached flyer for more info. Additional info to follow as we get closer to the event.
