Zach Ziegler, Gray Kinnie, Alex Oancea, Nick Contis, and Lucas Simmons each drove in runs during the inning. Jack Sheldon got the win for Maples. He went six innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out eight and walking one. The Maples Varsity totaled 12 hits. Oancea, Kinnie, Ziegler, Simmons, and Contis all managed multiple hits for the Maples.

The game was tied at 5 with the Maples batting in the top of the 6th when Lucas Simmons doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. The Maples earned the victory despite allowing NFHU to score 4 runs in the 2nd. The Maples put up 4 runs in the 7th.
