A walk-off left Seaholm Maples Varsity on the wrong end of a 4-3 defeat to West Bloomfield on Saturday. The game was tied at three with West Bloomfield batting in the bottom of the seventh when #34 doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Seaholm Maples Varsity lost despite out-hitting West Bloomfield nine to six.
In the first inning, West Bloomfield got their offense started. #3 was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Seaholm Maples Varsity knotted the game up at three in the top of the sixth inning. An error scored one run for Seaholm Maples Varsity.

Troy’s #17 pitched West Bloomfield to victory. The fireballer lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and three runs while striking out six.

Joe Sheldon led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Seaholm Maples Varsity. The righthander lasted two innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out three and walking one. Sam Schumaker threw four innings in relief.

Seaholm Maples Varsity racked up nine hits on the day. Schumaker, Nick Shenefelt, and Colton Kinnie all had multiple hits for Seaholm Maples Varsity. Schumaker led Seaholm Maples Varsity with three hits in four at bats.

West Bloomfield tallied six hits in the game. #19 and #10 each had multiple hits for West Bloomfield.
