The Maples defeated Cranbrook 9-4 on Tuesday. Nick King led the Maples to victory on the mound. He went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one. Justin Miller threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Maples collected 13 hits. Alex Oancea, Miller, Max Schumaker, Alex Maxwell, and Lucas Simmons each collected multiple hits with Schumaker, Miller, and Oancea leading the way with three hits each.

The Maples next play on Thursday, as they head to Orchard Lake St. Mary’s HS for 4:30 PM non-conference game.
