Maples Struggle To Find Groove Against Farmington

The Maples couldn’t keep up with Farmington and fell 13-4 on Thursday. Farmington got things started in the second inning by scoring two runs.
In the bottom of the second inning, the Maples tied things up at two when Alex Maxwell doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Farmington took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning. Farmington scored five runs in the fifth inning. Justin Miller took the loss for the Maples; he lasted four innings, allowing 13 hits and ten runs while striking out three. Gray Kinnie led the Mapleswith two hits in three at bats.
