Happy Easter!!

I hope everyone had a terrific Spring Break! I am eager to really get this season started this upcoming week.

As of right now here are the schedule changes for next week:

JV ( Coach O) has added the DH on Monday at Seaholm against Oak Park. 4 PM start
JV ( Coach O) has a single game at Oak Park on Wednesday. 4:30 PM start
Varsity will practice Monday at Seaholm. 3:30 start time
Tuesday: Single Game at Seaholm Vs Cranbrook. 4:30 start time
Thursday: Single Game at Cranbrook Vs Cranbrook. 4:30 start time

I am working on getting a game or games for Wednesday as well.

Fundraising this year will all be done through the SNAP Fundraising platform. This platform creates the opportunity to fundraise completely online. My brother coaches a high school football team in Ohio, where they were able to raise $11,000 from this program. Below you will see what is required from each player before our SNAP zoom call on Saturday, April 10th. As you can see below, each player needs twenty emails in order for the fundraiser to run smoothly. This is a much easier assignment than the fundraisers we have done in the past. I am also attaching the Zoom link for the call on Saturday, April 10th at 9:00 AM. I will be discussing this in more detail with all of the teams this week.

We need to take full advantage of this opportunity.

There will be more emails throughout the week regarding the fundraiser and any other schedule changes. As always, if there are any questions; please do not hesitate to ask.

“Seaholm Baseball Athletes and Parents,

We’re kicking off our fundraiser with Snap! Raise, the nation’s leading fundraising platform for groups, clubs and teams.

I ask that you help your student identify at least 20 people they will reach out to via Snap! Raise, and gather their email address prior to our team meeting on Saturday, April 10th .

The list of 20 people should include many of your students’ biggest fans and needs to be completed in full to ensure our campaign is set up for success. It is my hope and expectation that each student will have a major impact on our program. Here are next steps:

• Help your student select at least 20 potential supporters
• Enter their names and correct email into the NOTES feature on your students’ phone
• Avoid using emails of teachers, peers of your students, or strangers
