Game 1: Maples Grab Lead in 5th Inning to defeat N Farmington Harrison United (NFHU)

The Maples stole the lead late and defeated NFHU 3-2 on Monday. The game was tied at 2 with the Maples batting in the bottom of the 5th when Max Schumaker grounded out, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Justin Miller was the winning pitcher for the Maples . He surrendered 2 runs on 2 hits over 6 innings, striking out 2.
